US lawmakers unveil Taiwan war to-do list

The 10-point action plan calls for a larger US military presence in the Pacific and additional security aid to Taipei

American lawmakers have published a list of recommendations for how Washington should “arm Taiwan to the teeth” against any potential attacks from Beijing, urging for more US weapon sales to the island, as well as long-range missile deployments in the broader region. 

The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party released a lengthy document this week outlining proposals for how to halt Beijing’s “aggressive behavior” toward Taipei, including a 10-item “blueprint for Congressional action.”
