Theresa Tam gets 22% pay raise

Canada’s chief medical officer who oversaw the mishandling of Public Health Agency pandemic supply warehouses and advised Canadians to wear a mask to stop the spread of Covid-19 during coitus will see her salary bumped up to $324,000 a year.

The news broke in Blacklock’s Reporter Thursday morning:

“Tam was appointed chief public health officer in 2016. Cabinet in an executive order effective Tuesday raised her maximum pay by $59,400 from $265,000 to $324,000 a year, a 22.4 percent hike. Tam’s contract was extended for three years.
